
FEA Analysis
Deflection and stress analysis using SolidWorks FEA analysis modeling to ensure that our bridge would reach the minimum weight loading requirements for the project. This allowed us to iterate our bridge virtually to achieve the highest load bearing to bridge weight ratio of any bridge in the competition.
Final Model
The final model was never allowed to be tested physically, we had to rely on CAD FEA analysis to ensure the our bridge would meet the loading requirements. Only plywood was allowed to be used.

Final Presentation
This presentation was given and contains our engineering drawings, the predicted loading and deflection analysis, and reflections on why our model deviated from the theoretical analysis that we performed.
